Our Vending Service History
Founded from Our Forefathers
Vendture Group's history spans multiple generations, back to the early 1900s. Our founder, Kayin's great, great-grandfather Max Sigman, was an ice block vendor in Brooklyn, New York.
Before the time of cooling compressors and refrigerators, people used to store their food using large blocks of ice in sealed containers. Max would pick up the ice from his distributors and use his horse-drawn carriage to deliver the preservation tool to as many families as he could.
Fast-forward to the 21st century, and the vending business is alive and well. Kayin and the Vendture Group team continue Max's legacy by enabling vending machine operators to thrive in a modern, technology-driven marketplace.
Their mission is to make the vending machine industry more accessible, helping entrepreneurs unlock the potential of passive income while driving the future of vending forward.
Fun Fact: the ice trade, also known as the frozen water trade was invented in 1806, when the “Ice King”, Frederic Tudor, a Boston native, shipped a boat full of ice to Martinique, a Caribbean island.
